Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 1 large green pepper
- 1 large jalapeƱo pepper
- 2 cans crush tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can kidney beans
- 2 cans chili hot beans
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 2 tablespoons of garlic salt
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cheese, avocado and onion as garnish
Directions
- Brown ground beef and put ground beef in crock pot.
- Saute chopped onion, jalapeno pepper and green pepper in the same pan. Put vegetable mixture into crock pot and mix with beef.
- Add spices and let sit 1 hour to enhance flavors (if in a rush, ok to skip the hour wait)
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste and beans
- Cook in crock pot on low for 8-10 hours.
- Top with avocado, onions, and shredded Mexican cheese blend and slices of a french roll for dipping.
- Also great on top of hamburgers or hot dogs!
