Kale Chips

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (or for extra special kale chip, try truffle salt)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degree
  • Line a non-insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper
  • With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite sized pieces.
  • Wash and thorough dry kale with a salad spinner - Make sure they are very dry, so they crisp instead of steam!

  • Drizzle kale with olive oil and massage the oil into each piece of kale
  • Sprinkle with seasoning salt, garlic powder and pepper 
  • Bake for about 10 minutes until the edges are lightly browned but not burnt
